In learning how to speak to God, we must learn this very important attribute that He has. God is spoken of throughout scripture as being omnipresent. God is an Infinite Spirit. He is all around us watching everyone at the same time throughout our lives. He knows what is going to happen before it does, as He embraces all of eternity, where there is no time in His realm of existence. Time only exists in our realm of existence, as He created us to have time.

God is not restricted by time or space, making it easy for Him to be with everyone at the same time, no matter when that is for us. God shows us this not only throughout scripture but within our own lives.

Psalms 139:7-10 (NKJV)

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.

God is so great He is our creator and wants all of us to be able to have a conversation with Him. Because He is omnipresent, He knows what each one of us needs before we ask. However, He has made it so we will come to Him for those needs, asking Him through prayer. He has made it easy for us to speak with Him in this way.

In the old testament, people would talk to Him, through priests and at altars of sacrifice. Because Jesus was sent to die on the cross for us, through His sacrifice, it has become much easier for us to speak with Him.

Jesus paved the way for each of us to be closer to God by being our mediator to God. Taking all the sin of all mankind upon Himself so that, In the name of Jesus, it gives us the authority to accomplish more through prayer. Jesus became the blood sacrifice for our sins and God sees us through Christ when we are saved. Do you have to be saved to talk to God? No, if this was the case then how would God hear those who want to come to Him?

Our God is very loving and He wants so desperately to hear us. The more you talk to Him the better He likes it. He inhabits the prayers and praises of His people.

God’s peace is so encompassing and through prayer, we do have that peace and God lets us know He is listening.

How God lets us know is through miracles, through situations, and asking for Him to protect our families and us every day. We know when that happens He is listening.

When my husband and I were first married every time we went someplace or he would leave for work I would say “God we come against all accidents and deer in our path, in Jesus' name. One day when my husband came home from work he said, “Honey you will never believe this, I was driving down the road and I saw a deer on the opposite side of the road I was traveling on. I slowed down and the deer would not cross the road until I went through. He was not hurt he ran away as soon as I passed.”

God always listens and takes care of His children. Does He always answer prayer the way we want? No, because He knows what we have to struggle with within our lives and He knows the future. Also, because of our own free will on which path we take and how that situation can bring us back to trusting in Him.

We are here on this earth to learn the ways of the Lord. Sometimes some people have to go through more than others but God is always with them. We are being prepared for a higher calling.

Just remember when you have a conversation with God He is listening, and the way He answers is always the right way. I have been blessed to live my life with God. Believe me, the best times I have had in this life are speaking with my wonderful God.

"Fear is the bubble of bondage surrounding the people of God (His Church), that is stopping us from uniting to do God's work."

What does this mean? Fear lies and deceives us into a false belief of who we are in Christ, what God wants for us, why we should or should not do as God wants us to do. Look at the past year and what was the biggest player in the evil within it? The answer is FEAR. There has been so much fear from the pandemic, fires, bad weather, political & racial unrest, a heightening fear of death, and losing all that we have as far as the freedoms we have to the keeping of our jobs.

False Evidence Appearing to be Right = FEAR, this is the only one acronym that I have found describing what this bondage is like. This is a fabrication of the mind that hurts you mentally, while it tries to creep its way into the deepest part of our soul. This is what causes the bondage within us that can cause us physical, mental, and even spiritual anguish if allowed in. This evil if seeded within us can grow, by leading us on a pathway of total destruction of our entire life, consuming us and keeping us away from what God has for us, or doing anything that we are meant and capable of doing.

John 8:42-44 (NKJV)

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Jesus is stating here that the devil is the "father of lies", as he was from the beginning, this makes it hard for us to trust and believe in the TRUTH that God has given us. The devil, Satan, is out to deceive (lie), destroy(hurt), and kill, all the good truth in which God created, especially those of us who put our faith and trust in Him. We need to learn how to turn the lies that Satan puts in our minds into truth through the Love of God. We do this through the HOPE of our Salvation, believing in Jesus and the Trinity of God.

Isaiah 45:10 (NKJV)

Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

We can lose our way on the path of fear. God lists "fear not" in the bible 365 times, that is a daily reminder to not let fear take over your life. God always stresses the most important in the bible to us, this is one of those.

One of the biggest lies that the devil tries to give us to believe is the statement to fear God. This is an area, where people take the bible out of context. In Hebrew, the word to fear God is YARE which means, to fear, reverence, honor, respect (taken from Stong's Concordance). There is nothing to be fearful of once you are saved, as His judgment isn't the same for you, as it was before you were saved. God wants reverence, honor, respect, our glory, our love, and our praises. When we choose the path to serve Him and do whatever He asks of us, we step away from this fear of doing whatever He asks. We conquer all fear by putting our hope in the Lord. When we put our lives in His hands that will take away most of our fears because He gives us His peace. As you grow in Christ, you will see how God helps you manage your life. He knows us better than anyone, He never asks you to do something that He doesn't think you can handle. However, we do have free will, to do whatever we feel we need to, but God will offer you the direction that can make life easier, sometimes we decide not to take that path, so God can correct us to get us back on the path. So, with this in mind, you can choose to listen or not to listen, it is up to you. The greatest thing that comes out of all of this is that we have a heavenly Father that loves us unconditionally, no matter what, once we are His children.

With this in mind, remember that your fears today will ruin your tomorrows and whatever you fear the most can come upon you. So, why not walk the pathway of Hope and Love that comes from the Lord? In my life, there hasn't been a reason not to walk the path of hope and love, however, there's still a fight with the "father of lies", that tries to stop God's people. We need to shut off the things that make this happen and get on our knees in prayer. This is needed more than anything at this present time. God's got an army, are we going to be part of this army or fight against it with the lies of the devil?

Psalm 31: 23-24 (NKJV)

Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints!

For the Lord preserves the faithful,

And fully repays the proud person.

24 Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart,

All you who hope in the Lord.
